Data Deletion Instructions

Your recordings, settings and sign-in details are stored only on your phone. The only data on our server is an anonymous install record (random install ID, phone model, versions, IP). You can delete everything using the steps below.

Remove Facebook sign-in

  1. In GoRecorder, open Live stream, choose Facebook and tap Sign out. This removes the Facebook token from your phone.
  2. Then remove the app from Facebook: open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → select GoRecorder → Remove.

Remove Google / YouTube sign-in

  1. In GoRecorder, open Live stream, choose YouTube and tap Switch account. This revokes GoRecorder's access and removes the saved email and channel name from your phone.
  2. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/connections.

Delete everything the app stored

  1. Open Android Settings → Apps → GoRecorder → Storage → Clear data, or simply uninstall the app.
  2. Your recordings are normal files in your gallery (Movies/GoRecorder, Pictures/GoRecorder, Music/GoRecorder). Delete them in the app, in your gallery app or with a file manager.

Anonymous install statistics

  1. To stop sending them: GoRecorder → Settings → Others → turn off Anonymous install statistics.
  2. To delete your record from our server: email us the install ID shown under that setting (first 8 characters are enough). We delete it within 7 days. Records not seen for 12 months are deleted automatically.

Live videos on YouTube or Facebook

Live videos you streamed are stored by YouTube or Facebook, not by us. Delete them in YouTube Studio or on your Facebook profile or Page.
